Willamette PassBruce Carter and I rode Willamette Pass today. This is the third major climb on the Oregon Ultimate Rode Ride, and I wanted a taste before the official ride. We left the rest stop just above Oakridge at 9:07 and the climbing started immediately. However, as this is a major highway over the Cascades, the incline is never more that 6%, but it was long. After reaching the summit, we continued on to the small town of Cresant where we stopped for a quick lunch. Then, we retraced our route back to Oakridge.
